How It Works

SIRENIX™ functions as an advanced lethal ovitrap:

• Simply fill the unit with water to mimic a natural breeding site.
• Gravid (egg-laying) female mosquitoes are naturally drawn in by localized, eco-friendly attractants: standing water, a dark and shaded interior for resting, distinctive black-and-white striping patterns, flashing blue/UV LED cycling lights, and humidity cues.
• Once inside, females lay their eggs in the water.
• When the eggs hatch into larvae, the patented Larvasonic® system emits precise acoustic pulses that disrupt and rupture the larvae from within—killing them instantly and preventing them from maturing into biting adults.
• For added mid-season impact, the system includes quick-catch sticky tapes/boards that capture and immobilize any adult females that enter and linger (e.g., resting after laying eggs or emerging), delivering faster visible knockdown of flying mosquitoes while the acoustic technology handles long-term population reduction.
